Call for Scores
The Call for Scores for our 2024-25 season is open.
The Locrian Chamber Players seeks pieces to be considered for future programs.
Eligibility: All composers are eligible, regardless of age or nationality
Guidelines:
Only pieces written after 2015 will be considered. Works must be for some combination of the following: Flute, violin, viola, cello, piano, harp and mezzo-soprano. All submissions must be anonymous. Composers should send:
1. A bound score of one piece with a pseudonym on the cover. (NB: Do not send more than one piece.) The composer’s name must not appear on the cover or anywhere within the score. Print the approximate duration of the piece and the date of composition on the cover or title page.
2. A CD (if available) with pseudonym, title and duration clearly labeled.
3. A sealed envelope containing a sheet with the composer’s name, e-mail address, street address, phone number and the submission title. Write only the pseudonym and the title of the submission on the outside of the envelope.
4. A SASE with correct postage if you wish materials to be returned.
Hard copy submissions only, please.
Locrian is not liable for materials that are lost or damaged.
Deadline: All submissions must be postmarked by December 1, 2024.
